Jack Butland insists that following their thrilling comeback victory at Kilmarnock, Rangers should only concentrate on their next challenge.

Rangers, who lead Celtic by two points at the top of the Premiership, defeated Kilmarnock 2-1 on Wednesday night. According to Jack Butland, the team is simply looking forward to the next challenge.

In the season’s first league match, Killie had defeated Michael Beale’s Rangers 1-0, but ultimately found Philippe Clement’s Light Blues to be stronger.

Prior to Butland’s crucial save of Matty Kennedy’s close-range effort early in the second half, Danny Armstrong scored with a penalty kick in the eleventh minute after his cross had touched John Lundstram’s arm.

Rangers defeated Dundee 7-1 at Parkhead, and Rangers’ 11th consecutive win was secured by two goals in four minutes, a signature free-kick from Rangers captain James Tavernier and a goal from Tom Lawrence.

Butland informed Rangers TV that Motherwell will be the focus of attention on Saturday at Ibrox.

He remarked, “We just keep moving.” Right now, just three points really count.

“Yes, a clean sheet would be ideal—penalties are annoying—but we must focus on winning games instead of focusing on the other goal.

Naturally, the feeling is much better than it was when we visited this place previously.

In light of this, we’ll enjoy it, resume training, heal, and anticipate playing Motherwell this next weekend.

“At halftime, we kept reminding ourselves why we are in this situation and how we got there, and we never panicked.

We simply kept doing that in the second half, maintained our composure, and ultimately, Tav and Tom produced two wonderful finishes, giving us the three points that we were aiming for.

Tavernier, a master at set pieces, made again another significant contribution with his 20th goal of the year.

That’s what Tav does, Butland clarified. It’s difficult for someone to step up and score goals and take penalties as well as he does, particularly from free kicks.

He devotes himself to it religiously every day.

“So, when you play and practice like he does, when you’re a leader like him, those opportunities come in and he earns them, and he’s come up with another crucial goal for us.
