Brendan Rodgers Ends Liel Abada Rumors

The future of Celtic winger Liel Abada is still unknown because of rumors that he may join Major League Soccer.

With the American transfer market open until April 23, Abada may be able to leave his current scenario at Celtic thanks to interest from MLS teams Austin FC and Atlanta United.

Atlanta United is said to be in a favorable position to negotiate for Abada because they recently closed a deal with Celtic for Giorgos Giakoumakis. Abada might be interested in getting back together with Giakoumakis given their fruitful collaboration in Glasgow.

Abada may be ready to give up some of his rightful sale price in order to move away from Celtic and could even terminate his contract, according to rumors circulating during these transfer rumors. But Celtic’s position hasn’t altered in response to inquiries concerning these events and the potential for contract termination; Abada’s situation hasn’t been resolved.

In response to questions surrounding the latest rumors and any conversations about ending his contract, Brendan Rodgers stated on Celtic TV, “No.” There’s no news on that front. He finds it challenging to be in the same scenario as before. We’ll check to see if that can be resolved. Furthermore, Abada made it plain that he hadn’t heard of any indication that he would be willing to rip up his contract. No.

Abada’s future at Celtic appears to be in jeopardy as things stand; both the team and the player appear to be seeking a solution that would allow the Israeli winger to pursue his career elsewhere.
