The Rangers’ career is in jeopardy, so Kemar Roofe reminds Philippe Clement of this.

During a Rangers B team match against Dundee, Kemar Roofe showed he still had the finishing touch.

The 31-year-old striker began the B Team match at the Rangers Training Center after making his first-team comeback in Saturday’s 5-0 thumping of Hearts.

Kemar Roofe scored as well while playing 45 minutes in the eventual 5-3 triumph, as Rangers cautiously manage the forward’s comeback from a string of injuries.

A fully healthy and firing Kemar Roofe could be a devastating addition to the Rangers forward line in the last third of the season. Roofe is one of the club’s top earners and most skilled attackers.

Zak Lovelace, a teenage striker for the B Team, started the match against Dundee, thus Kemar wasn’t the only Rangers striker who was getting back into shape.

Prior to now, Rangers manager Phillipe Clement stated that the team would oversee Kemar Roofe’s injury comeback.

Roofe, who joined Rangers in the summer of 2020 for a rumored £4.5 million from Belgian team Anderlecht, has seen his career marred by major injury setbacks every season.

With his contract expiring in the summer, Roofe’s advancement at Rangers has been disrupted during the last two campaigns in particular, casting doubt on a contract extension.
