When the two continental titans square off in the second leg of the third-round qualifying match, everything is on the line.

Ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, Nigeria and Cameroon will retry in the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Monday.

The opening leg between the two African heavyweights ended in a goalless stalemate on Friday in Douala.

Nigeria would consider themselves unfortunate if they were to lose that match against their neighbors in central Africa, even though they were playing away from home.

The Super Falcons had more opportunities and even had a goal incorrectly disallowed for offside by Esther Okoronkwo.

The previous African champions will aim to replicate their outstanding performance in Abuja on Monday, and a victory by any margin will ensure them progression to the next round of the qualification competition.

However, Cameroon has reason to believe that the match is still evenly balanced and that an away goal could tip the scales in their favor.
