Pundit reverses Rangers title verdict amid Celtic twist, calling it a “slap in the face.”

Barry Ferguson acknowledges his error on th Celtics and Rangers winning all of their games through April 7.

Both teams had the same number of points heading into the weekend, but the Hoops lost to Kilmarnock while the Gers defeated St Johnstone convincingly away from home.

With that twist, Gers took the lead in the SPFL title race for the first team this season.

According to the Daily Record, Ferguson stated, “You don’t want to get carried away and get a slap in the face,” during an interview with Go Radio’s Football Show.

Have fun with it. Enjoy the ride back, but don’t forget to put on your blinkers. Steven Naismith will be excited about his chances of winning when hearts arrive at Ibrox. Their feet must remain on the earth.

“I predicted last week that up until April 7, both the Rangers and the Celtics will win every game. How could I have been wrong? After dropping a few points, Celtic must travel to Kilmarnock, which presents a challenge for Rangers.

Rangers will have to overcome that one, although they currently seem to be in a different place. What matters most is that they remain grounded. Although they have made progress, there is still much work to be done.

There’s a tangible air of confidence among supporters as Rangers now lead the Premiership by two points.

But Ferguson’s warnings serve as a reminder to everyone that becoming too comfortable might be costly and that the league is still up for grabs with three months remaining in February.

The title battle is still very much open despite recent victories, such as a significant victory against St Johnstone.

The squad has definitely been revitalized under Philippe Clement’s leadership, but they still need to be resilient and focused in the face of impending difficulties.

There are tough games coming up against Kilmarnock and Hearts, and mistakes might endanger their lead and allow Celtic to reclaim the top spot.

The unpredictable nature of the title race means that nothing can be taken for granted.

Each game is a test of character and determination and Rangers must approach them with the same level of intensity and commitment that has brought them to the top.
