Educated Rangers expert claims 30-year-old fan favourite can be best ever at Ibrox

Educated Rangers expert claims: Club historian David Mason believes Jack Butland could go down as the greatest Rangers custodian of all time.

Speaking at the forefront of the segment was Jack Butland, who was featured in a special UEFA feature on the iconic number one shirt at Ibrox.

Rangers have seen many great goalkeepers pass through the doors at Ibrox, and their current number one has started the season well.

Jack Butland has been a standout player for the team this season, following in the footsteps of Rangers icon Allan McGregor.

But if the England international prospect stays, David Mason believes he may become the club’s greatest ever stopper, even better than Greegsy.

“Has it all,” said Ibrox stopper.

David Mason is one of the best people to assess Rangers players from the past and present.

The Ibrox employee is the club’s official historian and is well-versed in the notable figures who have worn the jersey.

Although Allan McGregor, Andy Goram, Stefan Klos, and Chris Woods are the first names that spring to mind when discussing athletes, David Mason thinks Jack Butland has what it takes to defeat them all.

David Mason remarked, “Jack Butland seems to have it all.” “He’s a tall, athletic goalie who excels at handling the ball under his feet.

This year, he has made several significant trips to Europe. Even though his career is still in its early phases, he has the potential to be the finest.

Jack Butland will need to perform at his peak despite the La Liga team’s mounting injury list if the Ibrox team is to advance in Spain.

The 30-year-old says he’s prepared to step up when it counts most, discussing what it means to assume the role of Ibrox number one.

“It means a hell of a lot,” Jack Butland declared. There’s just expectation with it because of the history that sort of goes along with it and the keepers who have come before.

Being a goalie for the Rangers requires composure, control, and the ability to see the big picture.

And in the end, that’s what it means to be a goalie for the Rangers.

“Making the save when it counts, when the team needs it most, is essential if you want to play at the highest level and win.”

Goalie’s career in the second half

The popular Jack Butland is prepared to seize the chance in Glasgow, and the Rangers custodian has also been speaking about his goals at Ibrox.

The past few seasons have been difficult for one of the most highly regarded young goalkeepers in English history, having earned nine caps for the Three Lions national side.

Jack Butland is focused on starting the second half of his career at Ibrox. He hasn’t played for England since 2018. Prior to that, he was a backup custodian at Crystal Palace and later at his boyhood club, Manchester United.

Butland declared, “This is a huge part of my career now with this club.”

“I think I have a great chance to start this new chapter in my career—the second half, if you will—and achieve success once more.”

With 28 appearances and 13 clean sheets this season, Jack Butland has been a constant for the Rangers.
